A hospital in Iqaluit, The capital of Nunavut, in Canada's arctic region
The Institute
The Institute was founded following a generous donation by The Kodesz Family. Originally it was aimed to support research related specifically to biomedical engineering. When Prof. Israel Gannot assumed the position of the Institute chair, the scope of the institute was extended to technologies in healthcare in its broader sense. The main theme is supporting cross disciplinary research. Specifically collaborations between various fields which are not obviously connected.
