The Institute Kodesz Institute is seeking for high-risk high reward projects in the field of technologies in healthcare. It encourages questions that will create a paradigm shift, push the edge of the field, be un-conventional and potentially transformative. It should be co-authored by at least two PIs that will be connecting two seemingly unrelated fields of research.

Biophotonics and Theranostics, Development of nano particles based, multi modal methods for early disease detection, treatment, and monitoring. Development of mid Infrared medical imaging and treatment methods. The science of Translation and Developing methods for optimal translation from idea in the research lab to a product in the medical field. Team Science: Methods to build multi-disciplinary research groups. Practical Ethics- Ethical consideration in design and use of advanced technologies.

The second call was following the October 7, 2023 massacre. The post trauma situation in Israel increased dramatically the need for effective rehabilitation treatments. The Tel-Aviv University Kodesz Institute is seeking for high-risk high reward proposals in the field of Rehabilitation, both Mental and physical.
